The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway anounces consent to use West Navigator

AS Norske Shell has received consent to use West Navigator for drilling on the Draugen field.

AS Norske Shell has received the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway’s (PSA’s) consent to use the West Navigator mobile drilling facility.

The consent relates to drilling and completion of production wells G1, G2, G3, and E4 and plugging and abandonment of wells A 53 and A 58 on the Draugen field.

The planned start-up is mid-December and the activity is expected to last until 1 September 2014.

West Navigator (previously West Navion) is owned and operated by North Atlantic Norway Limited (formerly Seadrill Management AS). The drilling facility received an Acknowledgement of Compliance(AoC) in September 2000.
