Downhole Products opens new Asia HQ

Award-winning accessory and completion tool company Downhole Products has announced the opening of a new Asian HQ in Kuala Lumpur.

Growth in business and staff numbers has led to larger 3000sq ft. premises being secured in the lauded city centre Troika building.  From here, the Downhole Products team, supported by Regional Manager Mr Alex MacGregor, looks after clients throughout the Asia Pacific region from Australia to Sakhalin.

The company also has staff in Perth, Australia and Brunei and plans to open offices in Vietnam and Indonesia this year.

Commenting on the new Asian HQ, Downhole Products’ managing director Ian Kirk said: “Our business in Asia has doubled in the past two years and our current head count of 11 is expected to rise further as we add new team members to meet the demands of our growing client base.

“Key to achieving growth in the region has been a focus on ensuring we employ experienced people who offer excellent technical expertise and operational support.  To ensure we continue providing people of the highest calibre, we have recently developed a dedicated training programme for application engineers utilises internal and external training methods.”
