LHR Marine’s New Cable Drum Jacks Win New Orders from UK Marine Based Customers

LHR Marine’s new Cable Drum Jacks, part of the Company’s Lifting & Handling Equipment product range, has won new orders from local UK marine based customers. Cable Drum Jacks are a convenient way to lift and support heavy cable drums and reel off cable safely.

The new Cable Drum Jacks have a lifting capacity from 3,000 to 8,000 kg per pair of jacks. The main features of the Cable Drum Jacks are: lifting height of 310mm; simple robust construction consisting of a fabricated body supporting a machined steel screw which is raised or lowered using a Tommy Bar; colour as standard – RAL 5002 Blue; extra strong base plates; robust and easy to use; designed for heavy duty use and issued with certificate of thorough inspection which are suitable for the following diameter cable drums:

·         3t 1060-1680mmø

·         6t 1360-1980mmø

·         8t 1660-2280mmø
