Larger HQ for Phuel Oil Tools as they plan for future growth

Monday, Jan 07, 2013

Pressure control equipment specialist Phuel Oil Tools, has recently relocated its headquarters to new, larger premises in Aberdeen.

The company, which opened its first international operational base in the US earlier this year, made the move in response to an increase in market demand for its innovative Pressure Control Products.

The new headquarters is more than double the size of the previous Aberdeen office, which includes an increase in the company's workshop space of over 3500sq ft.

There are 12 staff currently employed in Aberdeen and the business plans to employ new staff in the near future to match market growth. The additional office space and flexibility to extend it will accommodate for such growth, which has been welcomed by Phuel's managing director, Colin McCracken.

Colin McCracken said, "The move to our new head office marks a significant step in Phuel Oil Tools development. The larger workshop will enable us to scale up our operations over the next year and support our newest operational base in the US. There is also the potential to develop and expand the new office facilities, allowing the premises to grow with us into the future."

"The business has grown substantially since we received a £1,000,000 loan from the Scottish Loan Fund last year and we continue to develop our product line to meet the needs of our increasingly international client base."
