Foster Wheeler awarded engineering and procurement services contract by Reliance Industries for new Paraxylene facility in India

Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq: FWLT) announced today that subsidiaries of its Global Engineering and Construction Group have been awarded a contract by Reliance Industries Limited for the provision of engineering and procurement services for its Paraxylene Project at Jamnagar, Gujarat State, on the west coast of India. This project is part of Reliance’s multi-billion-dollar Expansion Project at its world-scale Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex.

Foster Wheeler’s scope of work will include detailed engineering, licensor coordination and procurement services for the new paraxylene plant. The project will be executed from Foster Wheeler’s Indian and UK operations.
