Eztek reaches third phase of growth plan

Tuesday, Nov 20, 2012

Eztek, the harsh environment hazardous area electronic design manufacturing company based in Aberdeen, have reached the third phase of their long term program to increase their position within the Oil & Gas industry.

Phase one was completed last year with the relocation of the fabrication wing of the business to new premises within the Blackburn industrial estate. Phase two involved a move to a new, climate-controlled ESD production area, which increased the potential manufacturing capacity by 400%.

The extra capacity is required to cope with the increased demand created by an expanding global market and clients interested in simpler and more versatile technology, such as Eztek’s range of data acquisition instrumentation. During the financial year ending in September, Eztek’s overall sales increased by 20%, giving the company the highest sales figures in their history. In addition, Eztek’s export sales now make up 40% of overall turnover.

The TallyBook data acquisition system played a significant role in this expansion, with the unit being used in a range of applications from drilling, intervention and production. Additionally, the harsh environment equipment has a global presence in workshops, adding to the safety and efficiency of procedures from pressure testing to product development.

With the completion of phase two the next exciting step has been implemented. Plans for a new office block, located adjacent to the production facility, have already been submitted for approval.

Eztek thank existing clients for their continued loyalty and look forward to welcoming new clients to the growing number of technology-aware customers who appreciate the benefits of Eztek’s innovative solutions.
