China International shale gas exploration & market summit in March 2013

In order to unveil the latest shale gas exploration and development technologies and forecast China’s shale gas development trends, CBI BIZ will hold the China International Shale Gas Exploration & Market Summit on March 26-27 in Chongqing City.

The US is becoming an LNG exporter thanks to its fast shale gas development, while in terms of proven reserves, China’s on-shore shale gas resources stand at 36 trillion cubic meters, of which 25.07 trillion cubic meters are recoverable reserves. On March 16, 2012, China issued a shale gas development plan for 2011-2015. Later in December 2012, China’s Ministry of Land and Resources announced the results of the second official bidding of shale gas.
