AWE’s Wolf-1 successfully appraises the Redback South-1 discovery

AWE Limited advises that the Wolf-1 gas appraisal well has been drilled to a total measured depth of 4,122 metres and logging has been completed.
Wireline logs and shows while drilling indicate the presence of gas in the target Wagina Sandstone. Results suggest that we may have successfully appraised the Redback South gas pool. The well is now being cased and suspended for a future Drill Stem Test to test the significance of the gas shows.
Wolf-1 is being drilled as a directional well to intersect the target Wagina reservoir at a subsurface location 2.5 kms SSE of the Redback South-1 intersection.
