Authentix, the global leaders in fuel authentication, and Goaltech, Authentix’ local Brazilian partner, renewed their brand protection contract for gasoline with Petrobras Distribuidora, the leading energy company in Brazil, following a full tender process. The brand protection program protects Petrobras Distribuidora gasoline in Brazil from adulteration and dilution.

Petrobras Distribuidora chose Authentix’ industry leading fuel authentication technology to ensure their fuel integrity beginning in 2006. Authentix markers are added to Petrobras Distribuidora’s gasoline and fuel testing for the markers is then conducted by the Petrobras Distribuidora quality program entitled, “De Olho no Combustivel” (“Keeping an Eye on Fuel”) to ensure that quality fuel is being sold. Authentix and Goaltech provide in-country support, training and auditing as part of the authentication program.
