Tuesday, Feb 09, 2010

Amadeus Energy Limited (AMU) is pleased to announce that the Smolik A3 exploration well on the Hallettsville Project in Texas has reached a depth of 9,450 feet and is drilling ahead to its target depth of 11,300 feet.  At this stage the drilling has been without complication and it is anticipated that the well will reach its target depth within the next 15 days.

The Smolik A3 well is targeting gross reserves of 300,000 BO and 10 BCF of gas. Amadeus has a 24.75% working interest in this well.

Amadeus Energy Ltd is an ASX listed energy company that generates value for shareholders by increasing oil and gas production and growing reserves through the acquisition and development of existing long‐life onshore oil and gas fields and through exploration activity. This is achieved by acquiring properties that have significant development and improvement potential and by investing in a combination of low, medium and high‐risk exploration activity.
