Alaska National Petroleum Reserve 2012 lease sale results

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Alaska has announced the results of the NPR-A lease sale that took place on the 7 November 2012. The sale offered some 400 tracts covering an area of approximately 4.5 million acres.

The sale resulted in a total of 14 bids, submitted by just two companies.
