Aker Solutions secures five year MMO frame agreement

Aker Solutions has secured an important five year frame agreement for the execution of contracts across Talisman Sinopec Energy UK Ltd's brownfield projects on the UK continental shelf.

Although the contract contains no firm spending commitment, the anticipated multi-million pound agreement cements the long standing relationship between the two organisations.

Mike Forbes, UK managing director of Aker Solutions maintenance, modifications and operations (MMO) business said: "Talisman Sinopec Energy UK Ltd is embarking on an exciting phase in its development and we are delighted to have been selected for this agreement."

With a significant pipeline of projects within Talisman Sinopec Energy UK Ltd's portfolio, today's announcement reinforces Aker Solutions' strategic objective of growing its business in the UK.

"This agreement allows us to work closely with the customer to ensure that we plan for the successful delivery of projects in the longer term," says Mike Forbes.

Aker Solutions' contract party is Aker Offshore Partner Ltd.
